How to read it. Each row uses one Tailwind shade for the color itself (buttons, solid badges, dots, chart bars). Tinted chips and calendar blocks pair that shade with a matching background: 400–500 sit on the 50 tint, 600–700 on the stronger 100 tint, and their text is always the 700–800 shade so it stays readable. The mockups today use 500 dots on 50 backgrounds with 700 text — that is the “too soft” feeling. My pick: 600 for color, 100 tints, 800 text in chips; buttons stay blue-600.
